Michael Bates was born and raised in Tacoma WA. Bates began studying college level accounting at Tacoma Community College, before transferring to the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. Bates eventually transferred back to Tacoma, finishing with a BA in Business with concentration in Accounting at Pacific Lutheran University. After receiving his BA, Bates obtained Masters of Science in Accounting at Keller Graduate School of Management.
Bates is a Certified Public Accountant in Washington State, an IRS Enrolled Agent and has over 12 years of Accounting & Tax experience, including being an IRS Agent for over 6 years!
Michael’s clients include small businesses and individuals ranging locally throughout Tacoma Washington to worldwide. He has developed a solid reputation in the community.
